congrats on the new domicile! re:ants--try borax. we lined it behind the baseboards. dehydrates their lil' ant bodies.

first off the before after pics need to be from the same location, lets not doctor the photos like a plastic surgion might. next , You may have a ant hive / nest in your walls, in the humid wet regions, I have seen it before near shower etc, knock a hole in the wall and millions ( and I mean it) millions pour out of the hive.
Ben , remember the bathroom you had for that week at my parents house,, we tore out all, ALL the walls and busted out the slab and rebuilt the whole thing.

We got rid of the ants by mixing borax, sugar, and water.
